What is CLEAR?

CLEAR is a fun, multi-media resource designed to help students understand how water is improved by crop and livestock production. Students will explore both a cave and the above-ground world of livestock farms, crop farms, city wastewater treatment plants, wetlands, and other parts of the water cycle.

The purpose of the CLEAR CD-ROM is to provide a multimedia resource for middle school and high school students on water quality to:

• Strengthen recruitment of students into science related studies and careers
• Relate accurate information regarding water quality and food production
  
• Provide a visual and audio track to keep students' attention in the classroom
  
• Increase awareness of environmental concerns
